I have been in the philatelic business for over 30 years and became a full time dealer in 1985 when I sold my Cadillac automobile dealership. I am a member of the American Philatelic Society, American First Day Cover Society, Machine Cancel Society, Philatelic Group of Boston, and U.S. Cancellation Club. My community activities include past King Lion, past president of the Olde Farms neighborhood association, past treasurer of the Boxford Athletic Society, and volunteer youth soccer coach for 16 years. Hobbies include fishing and reading. Linda, my wife of 36 years teaches quilting and occasionally helps out at stamp shows or scanning covers for the store.
In 1998 my youngest son Michael joined the business after graduating from Babson College. He takes care of our computer operation and keeps the store operating smoothly. His interests include fishing, soccer and spending time with his wife who is an elementary school teacher.
Andrew, my oldest son joined the business last year after living in Virginia for 13 years. He does data entry and is quickly learning the postal history side of the business. He enjoys reading, playing the guitar and a good game of poker.
